"readme": "# Soldered WS2812 MicroPython Library\n\nWS2812B is an addressable RGB LED with an integrated driver, individually controllable over a single data pin (no separate driver chip or I2C interface needed). This repo holds example scripts for driving WS2812B-based LEDs/strips/rings using MicroPython's built-in `neopixel` module - there's no custom Soldered driver class, since `neopixel` already covers it. Works with any of Soldered's WS2812B boards, including:\n\n- [Smart LED WS2812B Pixel](https://solde.red/333054)\n- [Smart LED WS2812B Ring7](https://solde.red/333055)\n- [Smart LED WS2812B Stick10](https://solde.red/333056)\n- [Smart LED WS2812B Ring12](https://solde.red/333070)\n- [Smart LED WS2812B Ring24](https://solde.red/333101)\n- [RGB LED Diode WS2812B 8mm THT](https://solde.red/555010)\n- [WS2812B Addressable RGB LED Strip 5V (30 LED/m)](https://solde.red/555011)\n- [WS2812B Addressable RGB LED Strip 5V (60 LED/m)](https://solde.red/555012)\n\n## How to install\n\n---\n\nAfter [**installing the mpremote package**](https://docs.micropython.org/en/latest/reference/mpremote.html), install the library on your board using the following command:\n\n```sh\n mpremote mip install github:SolderedElectronics/Soldered-WS2812-MicroPython-Library\n```\nOr, if you're running a Windows OS:\n\n```sh\n python -m mpremote mip install github:SolderedElectronics/Soldered-WS2812-MicroPython-Library\n```\n\n### Repository Contents\n\n- **package.json** - mip install manifest\n- **/Examples** - blink, pulse, and simple-fade examples using MicroPython's built-in `neopixel` module\n\n### Hardware design\n\nYou can find hardware design for Soldered's WS2812B-based boards in their respective hardware repositories.\n\n### Documentation\n\nAccess library documentation [here](https://docs.soldered.com).\n\n### About Soldered\n\n![Soldered Logo](https://raw.githubusercontent.com/SolderedElectronics/Soldered-Generic-Arduino-Library/dev/extras/Soldered-logo-color.png)\n\nAt Soldered, we design and manufacture a wide selection of electronic products to help you turn your ideas into acts and bring you one step closer to your final project.
