Soldered TMP117 MicroPython Library


TMP117 Temperature Sensor (opens in a new tab)

Built around Texas Instruments' TMP117, this breakout delivers high-accuracy digital temperature sensing (±0.1°C from 0°C to +85°C, NIST-traceable) with 16-bit resolution (0.0078°C per LSB) across a -55°C to +150°C range. It features dual Qwiic/STEMMA QT connectors for daisy-chaining, onboard voltage regulation and level shifting for 3.3V/5V compatibility, jumper-selectable I2C address, a programmable ALERT pin, multiple operating modes (continuous/shutdown/one-shot), and programmable averaging (1-64 samples) for noise reduction. How to install

After installing the mpremote package (opens in a new tab), install the library on your board using the following command:

  mpremote mip install github:SolderedElectronics/Soldered-TMP117-MicroPython-Library

Or, if you're running a Windows OS:

  python -m mpremote mip install github:SolderedElectronics/Soldered-TMP117-MicroPython-Library
